Other Solid Color Pokemon Cards (black-white rare)

[eli_linguine]

First Post! Hey y’all!

In the 2025 partner sets Black Bolt & White Flair, a new rarity was introduced. Three cards of solid color were created and placed in the “black-white rare” category. These were the black Zekrom, the white Reshiram, and the red Victini:

I love these cards! They remind me of the Phantom Forces Dialga SIR:

One might consider this a black-white rare before black-white rares existed. This made me think, are there any other solid color cards like these? ig gold cards (especially the newest gold card designs) would count, but to me the black, white, red, and silver look so unique and so much cooler!

The legendary treasures zekrom and reshiram gold cards also count I think. And the original zekrom and reshiram black and white cards as well.

Black and white rares seem to fit seeing which pokemon got this treatment:)

As mentioned by @thymeee, the original Black & White set had white/black full art Reshiram/Zekrom cards as well:

(That English Zekrom als had an error where the background was grey instead of black, which is actually more common to find.)

As for Gold Cards, we have this thread with all gold cards within the spoiler tags of the first post:

Most of them still have some colors, but the ones that don’t are:

I feel like all Hyper/Rainbow Rares also kinda fit this bill.

And technically, Lightning Energies with yellow card border and Metal Energies with silver borders also kinda fit the bill I guess.

Wow I did not know about that Zekrom error. That’s actually super neat and might have to go on my chase list lol.
