Can’t speak to the others posted but I believe those art academy are @gottaketchumall personal collection sales so absolutely not shilled if that’s the case. If it’s consignment, you never know lol
That’s good to know, thanks! Could just be a bad buyer not paying. @gottaketchumall Were these on consignment or did you sell them personally?
The unpaid Arceus sold for $22,200.
The unpaid Tangrowth sold for $4,560.
We’ll see if they get paid.
Def not
Idk feels like each week every auction is ending higher than the last. People have more money than braincells.
Generally yes but these have been shilled already and are now being shilled even higher than the last time lol manipulation for sure
I’ll update the table tomorrow!
Sorry just seeing this. All others aside from tangrowth paid yes. One thing we need to be careful of is paid doesnt always mean real. Its fanatics so I cant see backend buyer data. But id guess these were “real” though anyways. Im always surprised though by people being surprised at wide variances in prices. These things dont have market prices. Theyre non fungible collectibles. Especially cards such as art academies. The higher pop and more transacted a card is, the more you can expect a tighter range on “market price” but these are some of the least fitting that category of highly liquid, highly transacted cards.
guess who’s shilled
shilled again

its possible, I imagine, that people could still have someone buy it and actually pay, which sets a precedent so that they can refer to that sale when selling other copies of the card in the future. Not saying that is the case here. But maybe more realistically for something more like modern Sword/Shield Alt Arts. I’m just trying to peer into the brain of the unscrupulous and think about how they might be nefarious. But does any of the false sales data actually work whether its paid or not? Or do prices not move much?
Let’s see if they can take these fake bids to 50k this time!
Ive always been pretty outspoken against “comp culture”. Especially during more booming periods like now and 2020/2021 people just see a number, lose their minds and not even question it, now thats the “new price”. Someone else being willing to pay a price (or not) shouldnt really make you willing to pay it imo.
Historical sales should be a guide towards what you use in determining how you value the card… but people are very easily manipulated and people definitely act on that to some extent.
Shill Nye the will not buy!!
SHILL! SHILL! SHILL!
