The sentiment and statement are largely true, however there are some with great utility. For instance, one of the best night clubs/strip clubs in Miami sold nfts that allowed you to skip the line, bring guests, enter for free (guests still would have to pay), and get first dibs to events with special guests (musicians, djs, artists etc). Its tripled in value and it’s just an all around great grab. Same things exist for exclusive entry to restaurants and venues. The NFT space is just the wild west full of a ton of trash and cash grabs but I think eventually they’ll sort out finding a way to demonstrate evergreen, prolonged value instead of claiming something is “art” before rug pulling. I was fortunate enough to never lose any money in the space and a few of us on E4 were recently airdropped some nice rewards for early adaption. I literally woke up one morning last month and was airdropped enough to buy a new 16 inch macbook pro. Really needed that sucker for work and was a pleasant surprise! Anyway back to pokemon and this shitcoin of a tcg mlm.
