This episode shows some sort of sun / gengarlike pokemon. I feel this could be a new pokemon, or maybe close to the new sun pokemon.

it shows pikachu and meowth getting in the blobs dream. Since the blob is mysterious, it’s dreams may show an insight into the future. No real explanation is given for them being trapped in the dream, other than Darkrai doing something crazy.
