Do we know how the stock numbers compared to munch promos? How many munch promos were released?

Eevee, Psyduck, Rowlet and Mimikyu would likely be impossible to find out, but in theory it should be possible to find out how many Pikachu cards were distributed - you’d just have to find out how many tickets the Tokyo Metropolitan Art Museum sold for the event during the week or two Pikachu was available.

I imagine this is information they likely make public to stockholders, assuming the company is publicly traded. Even if it wasn’t I’m sure for press purposes they’d likely be happy to disclose that information if you asked them nicely.

At the end of the day though it doesn’t really matter. CoroCoro Shining Mew was an insert in a magazine which had a circulation of over 1.2 million - PSA has graded less than 0.2% of the total distribution of those cards yet PSA 10 copies are still valued at over $3,000.

I definitely think it will be a valuable and collectible card. I have a shining mew myself in a 10 and want the value to be as high as possible. But when that card released, people weren’t getting cards then sending them off to go to PSA or BGS back then so I assume that’s part of why the population isn’t high compared to release.
