The gyarados art looks pretty cool and the larvitar with a golden razz berry, good indication we will get some cool illustrations as well as the 3D art with this set.

Based on the arts on the booster pack it looks like a mixture of styles, same as any Sword & Shield set.
Let’s hope the secret rares are a bit more wild! Shiny Magikarp to go with that Gyarados?
Awesome idea. I’m glad we’ll have a special set like this coming out in the summer to make summer memories , like Pokemon Go. Too much good stuff comes out in the winter when it’s cold.

I was thinking about this. Don’t they have the community vote to decide which pokemon will spawn as shiny in the game, or have I just made that up? If so, would be interesting to see which pokemon get included in shiny form.
Most of the time the developers decide which shiny Pokémon are released in the game. However, for some of the “Community Days” players were able to vote between four different species to decide which shiny will be featured.

Please no… They’re defintely cool and I don’t mind seeing a few of them as cards (primarily the Santa; Summer; and one of the Party hats), but my bank account is already not gonna like it once the Vmax Climax set releases in English with those 70+ Character Rares & FA Supporters, let alone if 50+ English Pikachu cards are releasing simultaneously lol. 
I do like some of the artworks on the pack. I’m actually surprised it took them this long before Pokémon Go was used in the TCG tbh. I was expecting they’d release cards for them soon after the success of Pokémon Go in 2016/2017.

Pichu has had 9 or 10 different event hats in Pokémon GO, which is more than most Pokémon. Niantic have showed my cherished baby mouse a lot of love and in turn Pichu lives on in the pockets of millions around the world.
There’s absolutely no chance Pichu will appear in this set.

Just counted, pichu has had 8 costume variants + a regular one and pikachu has had 30 variants + a regular one
