Need Opinions on PSA 10 Rayquaza SL10 Value

Hey everyone, looking for some opinions on the value of my PSA 10 Rayquaza Call of Legends SL10. I’m potentially considering selling it, but since there are basically no recent public comps, I’m having a hard time figuring out where the market is currently at.

I’ve already received a serious offer of 110k, but before making any decisions I wanted to hear what other vintage/high end collectors think a realistic valuation range would be in today’s market.

Would appreciate any insight, especially from people familiar with vintage grails. Thanks!

Be a nice guy and give it to Vertemes.
It will make a good E4 story :woman_tipping_hand:

This card was valued at $6,000 two years ago. Several were listed and available for $7,000 as well. $110,000 is so unbelievably stupid. You should take the deal and run.

What are you talking about

$110,000 for that?? Sell and bury the cash in your backyard

sprint to the fudging bank before they realise it was a typo and meant to be 11k

What would your ballpark estimate be? I saw the Kyogre SL6 sell for 36k about a month ago, I’m curious what you’d realistically value the ray at.

In a world with many trophies, gold stars, and shinings selling for less, I don’t know what world you wouldn’t be accepting the 110k offer for this.

If you personally value it higher than those, or believe the market is undervaluing this then sure, but I think most people would agree that 110k for the card is ludicrous already.

I would be tripping over myself to accept 110k for that card. Based on what other similar Rayquaza cards are rumored to be going for/offers out there, I would instantly accept anything 50k+.

Haven’t really been following the market closely this past year, but I do think it’s worth more than 50k tbh, especially with some of the less desirable shinies doing 30k+ recently. I also heard there was a private ray sale around 80k in March, not sure if that’s actually legit though. Do you think the recent prices are just hype or the market has genuinely moved up that much?

Take the sale, congrats :tada:

Since everyone is being logical. If they have $110k they have $200k. Go for more. If they don’t budge, immediately settle. They probably need to bump the purchase price to help themselves out on a loss. Seems sus.

There can be genuine market movement and hype/FOMO/irrationality at the same time. I can see arguments on both sides for why the card could keep going up or drop by 70%.

Personally, I would take the guaranteed money at this point unless you are stupidly rich and the money would do nothing for you. Sometimes you need to say yes to what I can only assume will be an astronomical profit, even if you leave the “what if” on the table for the future.

prolly less than that  iirc only the lugia was that “expensive”

if u do that they could also just not bother at all

if the offer is via ebay and you counter, u will lose it and may never get it back

if the offer is “private” and you counter, they might just ghost

Truly astounding art.

Congrats to the buyer

In all seriousness, E4 is not the place to go to value this. The card value is what a whale is willing to pay. E4 doesn’t know who all of the whales are paying absurd prices for cards atm. If its an IG reseller buying it, you can bet they think they are gonna make 10s of thousands more
