Need ideas for preserving handouts from football games

My dad has a nice collection of these from every highschool football game he’s attended since the 80s! He writes down stats on them throughout the game and then compares it to what gets reported in the next morning’s paper.
They are mostly sitting in stacks in the garage, but for Christmas I’d like to give him a better way to store them. Budget is around $30, just wanted to know if there’s anything special out there for this purpose beyond your standard portfolio.

I think your best bet is to just use some sort of binder with page holders.

That said, with a little more notice, this sounds like an amazing opportunity for a digitization project. I bet it would be an epic gift to have all of them scanned and organized. You could even plot some of that information over time and run some charts or analysis to add in with it.

What are the dimensions?
How many pages?
How many total are there?
Finally, are you just going to store them again?
Got a pic of one?

Dimensions are typical 8x11, regular paper. Most will be single sheets but there are some that have multiple pages. I need to figure out how many he has total, haven’t had a chance to go over there and see how much of the old stuff still exists. These will probably all be stored again, just trying to figure out a better way then letting them sit in a cardboard box in the garage.

Scanning them is a great idea! My parents do have a scanner so I’ll have to get around to it at some point.

Can’t help you without knowing how many you are trying to protect for your 30.00. If therere a dozen you could get page size top loaders for each one. If there’s 5 dozen you could get ultra pro full page binder sheets.
