Finally deciding to pull the trigger on my grail card as a collector, the Regidoll JP e-Reader+ card linked above. Just looking for a legit check from anyone in the community who happens to collect e-readers, pretty confident it’s authentic but it’s a big purchase. Thanks for the help!

Pro tip: always check the seller’s other listings before making a big purchase.
In this case the eBay seller’s listings scream drop-shipping as the photos (background, lighting and photo angles) are so inconsistent, so experienced buyers will immediately start looking for YJP or Mercari listings with the same photos.
As for the original Mercari listings, the seller’s photos are consistent plus there are various different e-reader listings, so looks like the seller is just a non-merchant trying to sell stuff no longer used, and the listed card should be legit.
However even from its original listing the card seems overpriced as there are several other listings of the same card which are several hundred dollars lower. The only reason I could think about buying from that listing is if the card condition warrants a PSA 9+ (since most copies had their corners pinched by their holders and thus can only get 7s), and the only reason to buy from that eBay listing is if you really REALLY need that eBay protection in addition to getting a 9+ copy.

I always seem to find no matter how helpful and honest this forum is, there are always people who don’t care for others and will take advantage of links shared.
I have had an e4 discord member reach out to the seller of something I bought to offer them more. My purchase was cancelled and sold externally.
It’s best to ask questions perhaps without images etc.
