Now that it’s already been three months since the last update, I want to share what I was able to get hold of since then (Edit: aside from @dizzylochs ’ stunning Secret Santa gift, obviously).
Here’s a group photo of the most important card additions, it’s the best pic I was able to shoot with that flare.
As a regular visiter of this thread and approved connoiseur of Japanese cards you will of course know what’s in that pic and I can save my breath on a lengthy description 
Only the Tangela needs some explanation, for it is a No Rarity version. Actually my first NR and one of my favorite Base artworks at that 
Equally, Shining Imakuni and ___'s Chansey are simply two magnificent icons that I’ve been wanting forever and finally pulled the trigger on.
The two Natta Wakes complete my set of six. Guess I will crack the Mankey eventually to put in the binder. Super stoked about the Pika btw. Got it in NM/M condition with its original packaging for a great deal! These kinda exploded in price some months ago and I was rather sceptical if I’d ever get one, but I just happened to find the right seller at the right time
And then there’s of course the elephant (/fish) in the room.
Big ol’ OG Shining Karp. Completes my quartet of the only four Shining cards I ever really cared for

A very unique, kinda rare, utterly wonderful form of frozen water that occurs under specific enviromental circumstances with some involvement of a certain fungus. I recommend the wikipedia article, interesting read for sure.
