Gym Challenge 100% complete at last with the arrival of Venusaur! Technically I already had a copy but there was so much scuffing on that silver holo that I never had it in the binder as it was an unacceptable level of wear in my mind. This new copy is super clean.
That’s now Base, Jungle, Fossil, Base 2, Rocket, Gym Heroes, and Gym Challenge completed. Next job will be plugging gaps and upgrading poor condition cards in the Neo sets…not gonna be cheap, but I luckily preemptively nailed some big cards in the past such as Shining Charizard/Mewtwo/Gyarados/Magikarp, Neo Discovery Umbreon, Neo Gen Lugia, all of the Neo Destiny regular holos…all in NM-LP conditions that won’t need upgrading. Still a few nasty ones to check off though like T17 and Neo Discovery Tyranitar to name 2.

Thanks. I put multiple sets in the same binder(s) so the packs help break them up. I will start a fresh page regardless of whether the previous set filled it’s final page or not so they are technically already neatly separated but I just liked the idea of the empty pack.
Annoyingly even empty packs can be expensive for what they are, especially when you think about how many were ripped in the past five years or so in this era of saving everything because it’s worth something i.e. surely they didn’t all go in the bin after the glut of WOTC box breaks in the last decade or so? Maybe it’s not such an issue in the US. I want Neo Genesis to begin with the Lugia pack art but haven’t been able to find one yet outside of buying the full art set for what is (to me) a lot of cash.

Any modern silver border cosmos holo fans out there? I was so happy they brought these back for the SV and ME sets. Everyone loves to collect full arts, but these are absolutely gorgeous and most of them can still be picked up in the $1-5 range.

I haven’t seen some of these variants before…where do the Flareon/Jolteon/Vaporeon (need them now for my 151 variants page) and the Articuno come from?

Beautiful page! I’m on a mission to get all this era’s unstamped cosmos holos in a binder (about 75% of the way there right now). They’re my favourite cards to collect at the moment by far.
