Ugh, why ruin a card like that. At least pick a bulk set card, not a vintage promo.
I wonder if this would be able to be wiped off if someone cracked it out

Genuinely asking: whatâs the appeal of sticking a second Mew on top of an already beautiful Mew? Itâs competing with the original artwork, and it looks worse by comparison.
Also it doesnât make any sense (to me) that we have 2 versions of the same Pokemon, 1 shiny and 1 not: Iâm nitpicking, but this shows how little care they had in this regard, with zero attempts to better integrate these two artworks or sketching something more interesting.
To me, this new trend feels like a kitsch cash grab, which hopefully doesnât result in too many cool or rare cards being ruined.
Money money money money
Tru artist would have drawn a krusty krab deep frier for mew to back flip into
That would be incredible⌠but they clearly they are not looking to be creative. Creativity might lower the $$$$
When you have a market that is as red hot as the one we have now, thereâs no telling what kind of nth order effects weâll see. moduwa is now swimming in GS Rayquazas that he buys using the proceeds from his traced/full copied âsketchesâ
Where thereâs demand/hype/love for PSA auto slabs, there will be salesâŚ
I thought it looked cool.
Fair!
Itâs just that you could probably have had it drawn on a Psychic energy card, and it wouldnât have changed anything in my opinion.
I think this is my major criticism.
Is this the artist path to success now? Learn some art â gooner MTG arts to start off small as an unknown â furry commissions to build instagram followers â get PSA approved for Pokemon sketches â successful independent artist?
Tiny correction, otherwise spot on.
Sorry, I meant gooner anything art/sketches on MTG cards, as @Dyl has pointed out in another thread.
My live reaction to PSA âauthenticatingâ these artists
Unironically, yes
@cyberurchin would never
It seems like an infinite money glitch, really:
