Do you have big plans/dark designations for the Final Fantasy x MTG set this summer?
I am firmly in the ‘We will see’ corner at the moment. The cards are going to have beautiful artwork, no doubt, but I don’t really want to drop hundreds of dollars on MTG cards because I simply don’t collect MTG.
I may pick up a collector booster or two to roll the dice, but beyond that I think I will just enjoy the HQ scans.
Added some more Sumo wrestling signatures and numbered cards to my collection.
Godzilla TCG was released in Japan and I opened 4 boxes, very happy with pulls. Managed to get 2 of the gold bordered SP cards I wanted + the SSP ultra rare(not sure of rates but I think it’s the most expensive card in the set minus the /100 signature card).
Also bought many of the BOSS Coffee promo cards.
There were other Pokemon cards in this package but I haven’t organised them yet! (This could take 2 days, 2 months or 2 years)
More numbered release Sumo cards for the collection. The gold card is /50, top left and top middle are /25, and the other 3 are /100
25th Anniversary FF9 ichiban kuji.
I have dipped my toe into phone cards.
Some token Pokemon cards.
mNice little mail day recently. Still off Pokemon somewhat. I am buying some but just not sharing it. Selling a lot, too.
Anyway.
Bought my first Digimon card. I won’t be collecting these properly at all. I just saw this card and liked it. The stamp is very cool and I like the uhh subject if you will.
Serial numbered FF8 phone card unused.
The Persona series had Wafer card inserts recently for the 3rd, 4th, 5th games. I bought the main set which features the 3 MCs and other characters. And I also bought 2 of the secret rares.
2 new Sumo autos.
I also bought a sealed copy of Japanese FF9.
Recently had some big things happen in my personal life that meant I needed a break. I just got back from spending just shy of a month in Japan. I was going to organise to meet up with some people whilst over there, but I decided against sharing that I was going at all because I just needed solo time.
Anyway, with trips to Japan come with it bountiful loot. This trip was heavily music focused, as that is something I am trying to introduce more into my life (I for sure listen to music, but not much at all). I bought a significant portion of the album catalogue of my favourite Japanese artist Sheena Ringo, as well as some OSTs that I love. Also bought my first ever vinyls, I suppose I will need to buy a player.
Games as well, I filled in some blanks for my collection and bought a couple of long time wants. The Japanese release of Monkey Island on Mega CD has been a long time want of mine, I saw it for sale in a Surugaya in Osaka and had to take the chance. It came with obi and everything so a great buy all round.
I didn’t buy any Pokemon TCG, but I bought a Pokemon phone card, whilst also starting my goal of collecting the Chrono Trigger Pre-Order Set that came with the Super Nintendo release.
