So just picked this up on trip to Japan. It has a very slight Masaki mark. Is it severe enough to significantly affect grade? Card is pretty solid otherwise.
Would love some feedback from those that have graded.

The Masaki mark typically defaults to a PSA 6 grade. I’ve had so many otherwise mint copies that just have the mark and that was the average result.
I hope you did not pay PSA 8-9 price for that. A lot of JP card stores I visited priced their NM raw to high graded prices.
Aside from the Masaki marks, the scratches on the back and whitening on the edges will negatively impact the card.
If you don’t care about grading, it’s still an overall great condition card and arguably the best Gengar art.
Ya that’s what I read. I probably saw 20-30 of these and a couple had no marks but most had much more severe marks
i guess what I was wondering that does severity of the dent play a role or its just dent is dent.
with this one it’s only visible at a specific Angle and lightning and does not show on front. Only back.
