Hi all,

I’m hoping to use this as an ongoing list of what I’m looking for (and have not readily been able to find myself!). It will likely all be relatively low-end/lower grade cards compared to some buylists (pending Lotto wins), hopefully that’s okay.

All prices will be ballpark guesses (and based on conversions at time of writing), and are definitely negotiable card by card.

I’m based in the UK, but happy to buy internationally, and won’t ask anyone to mark values down or anything like that.

  • Pikachu CoroCoro glossy 1996 Japanese promo (Ken Sugimori illustrator error) - PSA graded (any grade as look as it looks good!). Love the history of this card, and would love a graded copy to display as the first TCG card (alongside the Jigglypuff I already own). I know it’s a cheap card raw, but was hoping I could save the year-long wait to just grade one myself.

  • Psyduck XY Promo Junichi Masuda 2016 Japanese - PSA graded (any grade as long as it looks good!). Have mentioned elsewhere, but I think it’s a great card; Psyduck, Komiya, Masuda (co-founder of Gamefreak with Sugimori/Tajiri), Japanese only promo release.
    $200 / £150

I’ve not seen either of these pop up over the last week, so have increased my listed prices a little (but still obviously very open to negotiations too).

Good spot, thanks! Was hoping for a graded copy, but think I may have to just bite the bullet and send one in myself.

Have bumped the prices up again a bit, still more than happy to discuss if you have one of these already graded! Hoping to save having to grade myself given PSA backlogs, Covid-19, Christmas shipping, EU Transition etc., and content to pay for the privilege.

Bump - Still haven’t found one of these yet, have increased the offer to $200/£150 for each.

Are you adamant about it being already graded? If you’re not picky with condition, you can definitely get a raw Psyduck on Yahoo for $200.

Thanks qwachasey - I already have a binder copy, but as a favourite card I was hoping to pick up a graded example purely for display purposes. I just personally find graded cards look better when out on view than raw in toploaders etc.!
