List of grading companies?

Here’s an obscure one: SCC
I hope you’ll enjoy their slab as much as I do…

Dang, that’s one ugly case lol. Added it to the list.

I will also add one or multiple example pictures of a graded Pokémon card for every grading company mentioned in the first post tonight after work.

I always wondered if “GetGraded” was a legit company or just someone slabbing cards in his basement. Anyone heard of them?
(photos taken from ebay)

Just seemed fishy to me especially since you can buy the same slabs empty on ebay for £7 each.

Never heard of them before (although the same applies to halve the grading companies I added to the list, since I just googled most of them). But if I look at their website it’s basically a brief summary of what grading is, and then a button to submit. They do have a complaints form though, haha. (Most companies would call this a ‘Contact Us’ instead of ‘Complaints’. )

Looks like they started at the start of 2021 though, so that could explain the lack of information on their website and why I haven’t heard about them. But I’ll wait maybe a year before possibly adding them to the list.

There are numerous grading companies coming out of the woodwork right now in Germany, there is one called EGS (this one already existed before 2021 lol), Platin Grading, Red Grading and a couple more I can´t remember of the top off my head - I only know them because I´ve seen countless people complain how bad they are haha

Do you think grading cards outside PSA, BGS and CGC is a waste of time/money? How do you feel about lesser known grading companies?

I’ve been considering www.europeangrading.com/en/ because I’m in Spain too and I actually like their cases. They look very good in person. But I don’t know… They’re quite expensive in comparison to other more well-established companies

@quuador , Thank you so much for tagging me in this thread, I really appreciate it!! So many grading companies to look into, I’m excited! Curious to see if any of the European grading companies will accept a card from me!

Also, I have another one to share I found on Tiktok! (Yes I watch a lot of TikTok content fight me) It’s another custom label service like GetGraded. He isn’t taking any orders yet, but I want one for my hoard.

This is the Tiktok page: Sam41Gaming

Here are some of the videos! (Click on the links to see the videos! IDK if TikToks will display in forum video player)

Pokemon Card Grading Company TikTok

For custom labels, he’s grading damaged childhood cards as “priceless” : )

Priceless Label TikTokI hope this can be another service we can add to the list of weird and fun custom label companies ha ha.

Yeah, these guys are a legit company based in Leeds, UK. They rushed to market at the start of 2021 and had a bumpy time of it in the beginning (spelling gaffs on the labels etc). A small group of UK collectors have made a coordinated effort to attack the company across social media since they opened too, which has been quite odd to watch. The company seem to have sorted things out though and are getting a bit of traction on the UK market now for their quick turnaround times and charity work/giveaways.
There’s apparently an ex PSA grader that got their their grading op up and running, but who knows if that’s legit?
The UK also has a bunch of other grading companies due to start trading in the next 3-4 months. To my knowledge, we have:
PokeGrade UK

  • PSA-esque slabs.
  • Blue/white labels. Gold/white for 10 & 10+.
  • Online database with notes inc. name of grader.
  • Only allow a max of 5 cards to be submitted per person per month to stop bulk flippers causing backlogs.
  • Due to start grading from mid-April.

Noble Grading

  • Don’t know much on this one yet.

UK Grading

  • Developing their own slab design; looks very clean and minimalist.
  • Black/blue labels.
  • Not much else known yet.

Majesty Grading Company

  • PSA-esque slabs.

    • Blue/white labels with crowned lion logo.
    • Online database.
    • Offering free grading to the first 500 people to register interest (now full).
    • Due to start grading from around May.

Finally done… I’ve added pictures to the first post and a bit more abundant information (for some of them at least, for others I either couldn’t find much information or simply couldn’t be bothered to find it, lol). These pictures will show what kind of cases and labels each of the grading companies use.

@shadowless @quibble Thanks for the info. I will add those German and UK grading companies in the future.

Here’s a video where you can see lots of Pokémon cards in European Grading’s cases, if someone’s curious

Very happy to pick up my first Shadowless Raichu the other day in a “BSG” (Best Service Grading) case. I will be cracking it out of the case when i get around to it but thought i would share it here before doing so.

I did a little research and it seems it’s a large ebay seller based in the US that encased the cards they sold with a grade on but has since been re-branded to DSG (Diamond Service Grading) and i believe are accepting submissions.
