Wow, I knew they would be outrageously expensive but I didn’t realize how ugly they would be too

I don’t know how everyone else feels but I don’t think these look very good. I think the only one I would actually want is the Pokemon Center since that actually looks decent. The Kanto starter set being $650 is wild

I caved and bought it. My daughters are too young and would destroy it (by trying to play with it), so it will sit in a closet for a number of years until I have the time.

Excited for the badges though

Those figures look like 5 nights at Freddies. The good stuff is going to be landmarks. We all know this.

Rock Tunnel

Indigo Plateau

Rocket’s Hideout

Burned Tower

Lavender Tower.

They could honestly just have a set for each city and some major locations in Kanto and it would be lights out.

People want Lego sets not Lego statues.

These don’t feel that different:

Megablocks $60

Lego $200

Does the megablok look better?

I’d say yes

Just reminded me I’ve had this one for years on my shelf, not at home or I’d take a picture

6$ btw

That Pikachu looks terrible in my opinion, the Eevee at least okay-ish (but still not good). The best set I’ve seen thus far might actually be the Mini Pokémon Center. Hope for some better reveals in the future, so far it’s really underwhelming.

I’d much rather put my money to the old MegaBlok pieces tbh

I bought the eevee since I think it actually looks decent (pikachu looks awful).

I also put a PC pre-order on the large starter set. I think it looks really nice and I want the badges badly but I am still undecided on it. That is why I did a PC pre-order, free hassle free cancellation if I change my mind in the next month. If it was cheaper it would be a no-brainer but it’s a lot of money.
