Just following up that the payment apparently initiated over a week ago has still not been received for the deal I did with Xiao. I do wires all the time and never had one take this long.
Either way, even if it arrives, for those who don’t know, he didn’t pay for the illustrator he won from heritage in June when he flexed it on ig. Also this is known in patreon, but I will share it here, I was involved with the card, and had to help negotiate a payment plan beyond the 45 business day window, because he didn’t pay.
These re-negotiating games are not unique to xiao and are unfortunately common in China. I have patreon members who lived there and would have to negotiate their food prices. I’ve had 3 buyers from China this month alone make me offers on IG, I accept, and then they renegotiate.

There can be complications or errors associated with the wire. If your bank refuses the wire, for whatever reason, it can take multiple business days for the wire to return to the bank of origin.
The bank that performed the wire should be able to provide an MT103 form. You can take this to your bank and they should be able to tell you what’s wrong with the wire, or the status of the wire. Ask him for this or proof of payment. If he can’t provide it, he hasn’t initiated the wire yet.

Yes that’s insane. I was in touch with the seller for months, but he didn’t want to tell me the final price. He just told me that he sold them for less than the asking price.
