It has to just be the PWCC scan right? I can’t imagine the card itself is actually cooked yet

The majority of us have been here for many years, so the prices are insane to most of us. I bought a full PSA 10 Mario set for $900. The prices from here on out will be out of this world from my perspective.
If you ride through the next slow time and we get a similar situation one day, you’ll think 5-10% drops after a boom are still crazy high.
Sun fading is probably my biggest dealbreaker too, but I’m not convinced this card is faded. These are two completely different scans, so white balance, exposure, saturation and scanner settings could easily explain the colour difference.
Severe fading is obvious when specific pigments are bleached, but mild fading is extremely hard to separate from a light print or different imaging. What exactly here makes you confident it’s sun-faded?
guess we’ll never know since the buyers will just trade them like nfts

Some things were up, some were down, in general about average for what i sold through fanatics in July. Hard to pattern perfectly. When it comes to modern PSA 10s I think the majority of cards could take a 50% haircut and still have room for decline before I would look at buying.
