Has anyone from USA received a package marked in the 5-figures but not get hit with an import tax?
I’ve been hit with import fees on items over $2500 with UPS, but not USPS.
$2500+ needs to be cleared by customs, so there might be a broker/agent fee there that you had to pay but it wasn’t specifically an import tax though right (unless it wasn’t pokemon stuff?) Source: importdojo.com/us-import-duties-taxes-how-much-and-when-do-i-have-to-pay-for-import-tax/

People in the US only get taxed import fees above 2500? Wow in the UK it’s anything over £15 that isn’t a gift
