Hello, I have a card that I bought on ebay, it is a PSA 10 card. I am looking at this thinking that the edge wear is a little much to be a PSA 10 but I am very new to this hobby and don’t know much. I tried to take a photo of the edgewear for you guys to peruse. The seller gave me a good deal, maybe there’s a reason why [imgur.com/a/OynfCoF](https://imgur.com/a/OynfCoF) ---

I’d expect a PSA 9 with that type of wear ---

Agree… PSA makes mistakes. If that’s the only wear, PSA 9 That said, I’ve seen worse. So if you love the card and got a good deal, and it wasn’t too pricey in terms of absolute dollars, then I wouldn’t sweat it too much ---

Seen PSA 10’s with similar wear but I would expect it to be a 9 more often than not. I can’t imagine any BGS 10 to have anything like that though. ---

PSA standard on this one was pretty bad, no chance that’s a 10 imo (but it was in PSA’s xd) ---

@karmaawhoree that is not a PSA 10. A total error, would be regraded as a 9 at best. I would not be happy. He gave you a good deal because he knew it was overgraded. ---

Maybe you could send it in as a misreads and get the balance in value back. ---

I see this every day from PSA, people posting identical threads. And now it happened to me This is making me wanna collect BGS, tbh ---

Remember that there are humans behind grading your cards. People can make errors and just push things through without checking it multiple times. I wouldn’t call that a 10. If that is the only flaw on the card I would call it a 9 for sure ---

It can easily be seen with a much smaller pokemon sample size as well. Imagine how many mistakes bgs might make if they had the same volume of pokemon as PSA, I would bet just as many cause again, humans are involved. ---

2xxx cert. Is what it is, and not worth the hassle of sending back to psa imo. A lot of mistakes exist with those early grades. Grading standards have tightened up significantly with 4xxx and beyond.
