Hi everyone! For those of you who don’t know me, my wife and I both collect Pokémon cards and both share the passion of creating a Jigglypuff species collection
For a while we’ve been looking for the glossy error unbroken bonds Jigglypuff (shameless plug to my buy thread) and in my search I’ve managed to purchase most glossy unbroken bonds error cards, except for the Jigglypuff.
Recently my wife was gifted a collection from a family whos young teenage boy collected. There were some fake cards in this collection, mainly “chase” cards, however there was a Jigglypuff included which seems legitimate.
Below are two videos of the card in question, one compared to a normal unbroken bonds Jigglypuff and one compared to a glossy unbroken bonds Spritzee that I own. I’m not 100% sure if the card is glossy or if I am seeing what I want to see. Any help would be greatly appreciated! My current conclusion is it is glossier than the normal Jigglypuff, but not as glossy as my other glossy error cards.
I strongly apologize in advance for poor video quality and background noise. I suggest watching with no sound unless you want to hear me breathing and my wife doing something in the background. The video was also posted on a throwaway gmail, so please ignore the creator name
Video 1: The “Glossy” puff in question is on the right. In the middle is a glossy Spritzee and on the left is a normal puff. (Link)
Video 2: The “Glossy” puff in question is on top. In the middle is a glossy Spritzee and on the bottom is a normal puff. (Link)
Video 3: The “Glossy” puff in question is on the right. On the left is a normal puff. (Link)
Below is a photo of each side of the card in question as well, in case legitimacy is questionable.
Thanks!
