These companies have employees whose jobs are to source cards. Also worlds cards are worth more now than 2020. ---

a lot of these rare cards are bought and resold months or year(s) later, so its not like they vanish from the public eye…permanently There are also quite a lot of rarer cards than you may think. Enough to have constant floods of auctions? probably not, but enough to always have something special every month? probably yea ---

Hmmm, to answer the overall question, i dont think it is sustainable-- meaning i dont believe we will continue to see such an influx of rare cards. Im sure theyll eventually get sequestered into peoples collections and that will be the end of that. Its actually tough because this is very clearly a great opportunity to buy some of these cards. This is quite literally a buy or bye moment imo. It just sucks knowing that and not having the ✨outrageous fortune ✨ to purchase them lol. I just gotta sit here and watch the moment pass 😔 ---

It’s also possible a lot of the influx might be coming from people trying to take advantage of the influx. I’ll admit I’ve been selling & trying to sell cards at prices that earlier this year I wouldn’t have even considered. Just to have funds for some of these grails. ---
