Image Gallery for Japanese cards?

Hey guys. I’m assuming this exists, but I’m having difficulty finding it.

Sites like Bulbapedia are nice for a variety of reasons, but one thing they don’t usually provide is a convenient image gallery for set-cards.

I am looking for any resource (for Japanese cards) that just shows a nice gallery like what Pkmncards.com does for English cards:

pkmncards.com/set/base-set/

pkmncards.com/?s=set%3Abase-set+rarity%3Arare-holo&display=images&sort=date&order=asc

You get the idea.

It doesn’t need to include everything, I’m mostly interested in seeing the 1996-2002 sets, and maybe 2003-2007. Anything beyond that is gravy.

Thank you for your time!

I only know of jp.pokellector.com/sets
But that is mostly sets from 2009 an onwards.

Definitely on the right track, but yes I still need something that shows the other old sets. I can grab the images one-by-one off of Bulbapedia, but I would be shocked if a gallery doesn’t already exist?

because they are not

Because sometimes they’re not. Some cards are uncensored, some cards are holographic when the English copies weren’t (for mysterious reasons), some cards we simply never got (even a few ordinary set cards IIRC).

But let’s put all that aside for a second – the Japanese cards are the originals. Obviously they’re mostly similar to English, but there is a reason why fans create Japanese binders despite not being able to read the text. Same logic applies here, especially for those of us that can’t readily afford to construct complete Japanese sets at the moment.

If you’re content looking at English that’s fine, but there are various moments I want to look at a Japanese gallery, and I have yet to find one like what Pkmncards.com offers.

There are examples like Fossil Mew Japanese Set and an English Promo or Neo Files where it was a Japanese Promo and English Set card.

There are also a lot of additional variants on the English side typically for non-holo etc // the set lists I don’t think were 1 to 1 after base both being 102 cards

@lhh, I’m currently working on this but it will be exclusive to the first 10 sets of Japanese cards. Feel free to shoot a DM

Hey Odds, thanks. I’m not entirely familiar with how the Forum works just yet but I did send you a message. Whenever you have the time.

If you are after vintage Japanese cards definitely check out the PKVintage app.

I cannot find what you are referring to. Can you please link it?

Here is the link to the Android App:
play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mikhaellopez.pkmvintage

Unfortunately, the iOS version is still being developed.

@lhh , check collectorviper.livejournal.com/ and use the Collection/Navigation pane top right to navigate the scans.

Ah, I think my phone is too old to find the app unfortunately. But thank you all the same.

Hey that’s pretty cool. While I wish it had rarity/artist filtering like Pkmncards, it’s still nice to see good scans all in the same place.
