Hey guys, i posted an add on craigslist looking for sealed product. I got a response from a guy saying he had 50 sealed packs from 1999-2000 as well as a sealed box of topps chrome. Well, he had 81 sealed packs all gym heroes, base set 2 and jungle as well as the sealed topps box. I got everything for $800!! I am so shocked right now i dont even know what to do lol. My mind is blown!! I have dreamed of finding deals like this- and i still cant believe that it happened!!

WOW. That really is quite a deal. I know Craigslist can be a little sketchy–I hope it works out for you, because the listing is worth at least x4 what you got it for.
And the question is…do you open, or do you hold?

I do both, hold some and sell the others. I collect 1st edition WOTC and these are all unlimited but i still have a hard time letting go of them lol

All weighted packs? Of course they are. #1 rule; loose packs online are always weighted.
Any way, just crack them man! WotC stuff should always be opened.
I’m confused, he pulled holos. If they were weighed why would the person sell them for such a small amount and then leave heavy packs in the lot?

I already pulled holos, theyre aren’t weighed. Pulled so far from base set 2 : Blastoise, zapdos, 2 nidokings, nidoqueen, raichu, chansey, hitmonchan. Pulled from gym heroes- Misty Trainer and an Erikas dragonair. And pulled a Jolteon from a jungle pack. Dont think im opening all of them, but i did open maybe 20 packs lol

The seller seems to be irrelevant to the hobby. He liked the number and accepted the offer either without knowing what the items are worth, or had an idea but didn’t want to look further into it.
