Master’s degrees are paying off less and less these days due to labor shortage. A couple of my friends went after one and it didn’t change anything for them

to @natsume’s point, meet up at worlds or something! haha Maybe you’ll find you can’t stand them in person. problem solved. Honesty is the best way to start, just don’t be invasive or needy.
In fact, a philosophy degree will even knock your income level back a few decades while you work at starbucks. We always joked about that in my phil classes.
Seriously though, it totally depends on the field. My MS (infosec) is pretty nice. My soon to be former boss’s (History) not so much. BUT My friends who continued law school after I bailed? Many hate their lives as divorce attorneys, even though they make far more than me… for now! 
Do typhlosion cards burn better or worse being fire types?
You can always burn your 401 statements.
