How to move my bulk?? - FA / EX / GX / Megas / WoTC ++

Hey everyone

Wondering if you guys have any suggestions as to how to get rid of my bulk Holos / EX GX / Megas / Full Arts.

Would obviously like to maximize my return, but dont particularly want to list everything 1 by 1 on ebay. I know selling 1 by 1 is most likely the best way to maximize return, but I dont mind taking some cuts to move these faster and easier.

Here are the ways I can think of

  • Making totally random lots ( 15 card lots, guaranteeing specific types of cards in each Random Lot, but having the entire list of what you could possibly get ) - I would also add “chase” cards where you could get a redemption for a PSA 9 1st Ed WoTC Holo, and adding some Secret Rares / Neo Shinings as bonus “hits” you could get in these random packs

  • Grouping everything up like I did below, and just selling as specific era lots

Old EX - 2

Any input is appreciated

I would personally group them together, just like the list you did.

Some people make decent money with random lots, but how much would even sell the 15 cards? $5? I’m assuming by your name that you’re Canadian like me and shipping these lots would cost about $10 USD. No one’s going to pay that.

Try to maximise your return on your WOTC cards, but the rest don’t expect top dollar… I remember 3 months ago, I was trying to move EX/GX/Full Arts and some Promos and I ended up just shipping them to Troll & Toad for about $2 average. I had tried bundling them on ebay for $3-4 a piece and they weren’t selling.

Yes, I am Canadian. Our postal system does suck, but the average package will cost about $3 CDN to the US ( prob up to 2 lots ). I would assume the US would be my main consumer.

I did a quick breakdown of the lot format, and it would look something like this:

53 Better Cards ( 14% )
54 WoTC Holos ( 14% )
65 EX Era Holos ( 17% )
26 Promos ( 6% ) - 1
48 WoTC Rares, inc. shadowless ( 12% )
135 Other Holos ( 37% )

381 total cards
23 total lots
16+ cards per lot ( always have extras to add as well )

So there would be 23 total lots, with each lot breakdown being:

  • 2-3 EX or better cards
  • 2-3 WoTC Holos
  • 3 EX Era Holos
  • 1 Promo card
  • 2 WoTC Rare or Shadowless Rare
  • 6-7 New Holos ( D&P - Sun and Moon )

Then like I said, there would be “chase” hits in the 23 packs, something to add a little extra to the lots. Something like:

  • Breakpoint Gyarados Secret Rare
  • Breakthrough Mewtwo Secret Rare
  • EX Dragon Charmeleon Secret Rare
  • EX Dragon Charmander Secret Rare

And the best lot would have a redemption for this card ( if you collect any other sport you know what this is )

  • PSA 9 1st Ed. Giovannis Gyarados

Lots of course would be pre-made so i wouldnt know what lot is going where.

Is $22.00 - $25.00 US dlvd too much to ask for a lot like this???
