How to contact eBay through phone to remove neg feedback?

A customer left me negative feedback yesterday saying that they didn’t receive their item. Tracking shows the item was delivered. I requested to get the feedback removed online, but eBay said it wasn’t able to remove the feedback “due to a technical issue.” Great! It says contact customer service for additional help, but I’m getting nothing. Their main phone number (1-866-961-9253) gives you the same BS “visit our customer service page” message. I can’t find any other way to contact them.

What is a phone number to speak to someone at eBay about this? Or what else can I do?

I can’t remember the exact way I did it but I did a chat session with a representative about removing negative feedback. I don’t remember where I had to go to find the chat support link but the service exists even though they make it impossible to find.

I’m looking for that too, but I can’t find it. Their “contact us” page is a joke. Literally zero way to contact them. No phone, no email, no live chat, nothing.

Decided to message the customer and ask for a revision. Nothing else I can really do at this point.

Yeah, eBay doesn’t make it easy to help sellers (outside of pointing to countless articles) from what I’ve experienced. There is this page though. You can at least select the feedback and put in a request to remove it

Yeah that’s what I did originally and got nothing.

But good news: the customer revised their feedback to leave me a positive. So all is well that ends well.

This used to be the page I went to… but now I can’t seem to find the “have us a call you” just takes me to an automated assistant instead…

My suggestion would be to go through the help, contact us now, and then just go through the options until one shows a call back wait time. Then just talk to whoever answers. Some don’t have options to get a call back, but some do during business hours.

I had something similar happen and I couldn’t get an answer. I talked to enough people where one could finally help me.

Like many have mentioned, go to the Help/Contact Us page by clicking on the button on top left of homepage and then select the Seller subcategory and then select Listings. Call back for that option is very short from a customer service rep. At least you’ll reach a rep and they can transfer you if needed during the call to another department. Best of luck!

It’s really difficult to do in my experience when you are not a top rated seller. I once sold my old Apple Watch and forgot to reset it. The buyer messaged me saying it was locked and asked for the password or threatened to file a claim against me. I responded with the unlock code less than 3 minutes from receiving the message. In that time, the buyer went ahead and posted negative feedback claiming I am a scammer selling stolen watches. It’s my only negative feedback and the eBay representative refused to remove it.
