There’s no hard rule but typically outside of Pokemon people generally agree that a thing needs to be at least 20 years old to be vintage

Thought it’s 10 years. 20 years is antique already.

I bought many of them when they were at their lowest all the way to when the price crossed the Ray VMAX

Lucky you! Most people will not notice or remember Rayquaza vmax AA used to be ES highest value chase card… until Moonbreon overtook it. Moonbreon was cheaper once.

upon googling, a multitude of sources will state that for most industries, vintage is 20-99 years old and antique is 100+

Rayquaza vmax AA used to be ES highest value chase card… until Moonbreon overtook it.

Not surprised Umbreon overtook it in hindsight. Much better art and the colors pop in a way few other alts have. Its V alt is quite good as well. Ito has that same sky color style in some of the other cards he’s done, like the Iron Treads ex SIR. Makes ya wonder how things could have differed had the arts been different.

Id love to see Ito do a Ray alt art using the same sort of sky colors.
