I find the cards I want and lut them on a watchlist. It’s the time when certain seller just go “here have for this amount of price” and I hit the accept offer button…..
Most of the cards I want are super expensive so I have no choice other than being patient. If you’re species collecting, search around for all the variants/languages to expand your collection - there may be some cards you don’t even currently know exist. Merch is another area to expand into as well. If you want a more personable experience, make it a habit to go to local shops and sift through all their bulk boxes and whatnot to hunt for what you’re looking for. Ebay is a great tool, but don’t let yourself burnout on it.
