So, I don’t understand what’s going on with Hidden Fates.
Are mini sets printed in limited quantities, or will they be available a year from now at normal prices and easy to find?
Pin collection was the first release of the actual product; tins come out this week (Friday) And there’s regular tins with 4 packs and small tins with 3 packs.
ETB’s come out Sept. 20; but these are sold out.
Then there’s Premium Boxes coming out after October 5th.
I doubt the print run is limited but some people are trying so hard to install that it is indeed a limited print run.
Pin Boxes Retail at 14.99U$S and were sold as low as 12U$S for pre-orders. (Now go for over 30U$S per)
ETB’s were able to get for less than U$S40 if pre ordering and now go for around 75U$S or more.
Tins on pre-orders were selling (the one with 4 packs) for 16.99U$S; retail price is U$S 19.99and now they going for around 28U$S on eBay.
Thats sumarizing whats happening, as i told to my friends, i wouldnt jump on the hype train as of now, unless you find products at retail prices on your Walmarts/Targets/Gamestops.

Hows your timing? With all the hype built up around this, the type of people walking into target and walmart looking for these aren’t buying just 1 lol. One case I bought wasn’t even touched yet and I just grabbed the whole case. The other cases I bought didn’t even touch the store shelf, they came right out of the boxes in storage and right into my hands. With that said, good luck and be ready on Thursday night & Friday morning.

Also, most of you guys don’t seem to understand, these packs are like crack cocaine compared to the regular packs out there. With regular packs you get 1 and then a holo/reverse holo and thats it. These packs you are getting 2 GX’s in there, or a GX and a Rainbow, or a Gold and a GX. The pulls on these packs are AMAZING!!! I bought 20 regular booster packs on Sunday when I ran out of Hidden Fates packs to open…OMG it was so depressing. So out of those 20 packs I only got 1 GX and it wasn’t even a good one. I literally wanted to blow my brains out after opening those packs thats how disgusting it was. Thats why i’m out there like a fiend trying to get my hands on these packs

Market will be flooded with packs this weekend, then in 10 days or so with ETBs. And the dream of scalpers will end; Tins already down to 22U$S on different websites. Avaiability is growing as i type.
Your patience is going to be rewarded! I just received news from my distributor that the Mew & Mewtwo Pin Collection Boxes will be reprinted and available around December 2019.

Ok, just got off the phone with my distributor.
ETBs are being heavily allocated in the UK. Out of a preorder of 100 I am only getting 20.
So yeah, even though I don’t think this is a limited print run it definitely looks like a slow drip release.

No its not; there’s PLENTY of sites taking pre orders on tins at this time; even GameStop is now giving ETB’s pre orders once again; and store pick ups on release date upon availability. Check Gamestop’s site if you dont believe me.
I’m glad this set has made a lot of people show their true colors. I now know a lot more about certain people within the community.

Can you elaborate on that? Like did one of these people try to sell you a HF pin box for $35 when they got them retail at walmart/target and they got 3 cases? Just curious thats all.
I think there is no need to panic to be honest. If you are a collector trying to buy a single ETB for personal use, you will still be able to find them at affordable prices.
Allocation as far as I’m aware only affects people operating a business. I for example, couldn’t offer pre-orders to my customers due to not being sure how much product I would be allocated. But also, as a business I have diverse stock, so not enough reason for me to panic about it either, just a bit of an inconvenience.
My advice is, unless you really want them straight upon release, wait a couple of months as there are plenty of launches of different Hidden Fates products for the foreseeable future. I think the people who will end up overpaying the most will be the ones looking to buy these before Christmas.

Missed Connection: I just want to thank this anonymous person who ever you are, where ever you are.
So I got a call from my buddy today…
Buddy: Hey, he’s here stocking shelves.
Me: OK, on my way. (Followed by breaking every traffic law known to man)
When I got there, the guy was still stocking product and I saw where he put up 2 case of Hidden Fates mew boxes. I hit the mother load, 2 cases. I grabbed both and noticed that 1 of the cases had 1 box missing. Thats when I realized that even with my heads up, I was still a step behind and someone got to these first. Then I had an epiphany, whoever this person was, must know about Pokemon but yet they only grabbed 1 box!!! I just couldn’t believe it. I don’t know about you guys but this is a good person, unlike me who grabbed the whole thing lol. Anyways, I pay, I’m happy, and I’m excited.
Anyways, here goes my 2nd feeble attempt at holding these and not opening them. I blame Gary from Pawn Stars for making me open my goblin hoard. I saw one of his many vids on youtube and what he said in one of them really hit me. He said something along the lines that he was never really a sealed package type of collector, he liked opening his stuff and that Pokemon cards are meant to be opened, its part of the fun. My wife was like OMG, what are you doing? I said “Gary’s right, these aren’t for hoarding and storing, these are for opening up”. I opened a bunch of stuff up and OMG, it was a blast. That story he told of him peaking into his sons room and seeing him holding the charizard they just pulled from opening a 1st edition booster box was the onion cutter man. I had a bunch of those moments with my kid opening up my stuff. Thx Pokemon King!!!
