Hidden Fates blisters repackaged by 3rd party

Hey guys,

So I bought Hidden Fates Blister packs (2 booster packs in each blister) but when it arrived I noticed they aren’t officially packaged by Pokemon but instead a 3rd party LLC (MJ Holding Company, IL).

I’m guessing the packs aren’t fake as of now. But how valid are these packs or do you think they are just re-sealed from “left over” packs form ETBs and tins where the expected shinies might already have been pulled. Is it worth it to open

It does mention at the back “The products in this package have been purchased directly from the manufacturer or purchased from the secondary market & repackaged for retail sales”

Let me know your thoughts

They have been doing this for years (at least 10) with Yugioh. No idea where their packs are from but they never scale them (it just financially worth their time to do so). Up to you about whether or not you will open them but they are def not scamming you.

Ok awesome. Thanks for the response. I was skeptical at first seeing a third party pokemon product. Glad to know it isn’t weighed, sorted or a general scam.

Not a scam, what MJ holding does is buy a bunch of damaged or discounted boxes in bulk, open them and then repackage as a blister pack or as a “mystery power box”.

Recent sets also cannot be weighed due to the code card I believe, but I wouldn’t worry that it has been tampered by MJ holdings.

That’s really good insight. Thanks a lot for clarifying.
