Out of the 4 HGSS sets which would you all say is the best?
I guess it depends on what you mean by best. Personally, I like the artwork from Undaunted the most, but I think they’re all really strong sets.
these sets interest me too, I was considering buying a box of one but I don’t have enough expertise on this era to make that kind of purchase atm. There are fewer chase cards than earlier eras but still the art style was unique but also similar to the classics so I think they represent the end of that “old card look” era pretty distinctively. The B&W sets really scream “new art and card style” to me and HGSS is just before those I believe
though call of legends is def the best

Lost Link also features some great PRIME artwork for both Mew and Gengar should that float your boat.

HGSS Base! Gives really strong 2nd gen vibes, was less of a fan of the later HGSS sets since they started including newer gen pokemon that I don’t like as much and it started to take away from the 2nd gen “vibes”.

If you consider Call of Legends to be a HGSS set, that one by a long shot. My second pick would be triumphant because their theme decks came with a booster
