Help identifying UK Merlin Pokémon sticker pack: "6 Stickers + 1 Topps Trading Card

Hi all,
I’m hoping someone can help identify a sealed Merlin/Topps Pokémon sticker pack from the UK. It looks like the standard 1999 Series 1 red pack with Ash and Pikachu on the front, but the wrapper reads “6 STICKERS + 1 TOPPS TRADING CARD” where the normal pack just says 6 stickers.
Details from the wrapper:
• Front: Pokémon logo, Ash and Pikachu, circular “International Nintendo Licensed Product” seal, Merlin Collections logo
• Back: Topps logo, “Published by Topps Europe Ltd, 18 Vincent Avenue, Milton Keynes, MK8 0AW, England”
• Copyright: © 1995, 1996 and 1998 Nintendo, CREATURES, GAME FREAK. © 1999 Nintendo
• Barcode: 5 018819 901307

I believe these were sold through UK newsagents, but I can’t find this version documented anywhere. Every listing and guide I’ve found describes the six-sticker pack only, and I couldn’t see it in the Topps Collecting Guide here.

Any information that can be shared would be much appreciated.

Since no one seems to know what these are and I’ve got a full box, I’m tempted to open a pack and see what’s inside. Will report back my findings on the weekend.

In the meantime, any further info would be much appreciated.

Quick update for everyone who was curious about what’s actually in these.

I opened one pack from the box today. Inside were the six Merlin stickers plus one Topps TV Animation Series 1 card, as the wrapper says.

The Topps card is the UK print: blue Topps logo on the front and black text. I got the non-holo Blastoise (#9) in this pack.

This is a really interesting varient. I’m in the UK and don’t remember ever seeing this one. Also pretty cool that you got the Blastoise in the same pack as a Blastoise sticker!
