Gsp and Mastercard transaction help please :)

Hey ho! It has been a while since I have frequented the forums :slightly_frowning_face:
I have recently started selling items I own that i dont need. Due to being new I offer gsp international postage only(until/if I get going properly). A lady in Italy has bought soem toys from myself and wants combined shipping, I cannot combine with gsp order…so is the best way to refund the difference once I receive payment?
Alsoooo she wants to pay on Mastercard, I havent had a card payment buyer (in all my 20 transactions this week and ever lololl) I dont know why but I dont like the thought of card transactions ha! You hear all these stories about credit cards and being scammed. I was wondering what the best way to protect myself would be please?
I may be being over cautious andthere may be nothing to worry about…however I am a cautious person and like to have contingencies for the contingencies :stuck_out_tongue:
I would appreciate any seasoned ebayer or members who can give me some advise please

Muchas appreciated

Hey:)

Just list it on eBay in whatever way makes you comfortable and let the buyers decide if they want your items under your conditions. If they ask for concessions simply decline.

Thank you for your reply  Nice to see you are still buying up all the Zards ^.^

Is it safe enough to accept mastercards? and how can I minimize the chance of a charge back please?
I am happy combining postage, refunding the difference etc I am just trying to make the chance of being scammed minimal. Since I have zero experience receiving card payments, I thought id ask :stuck_out_tongue: I have confidence using ebay and paypal…but card payments especially credit cards are new to me.

She has paid and accepted my offer of refunding the difference in postage on my end to the gsp unit in the UK.

Maybe just use eBay/Paypal and don’t deal personally with them.

Cheers! I am just getting to grips with selling so I appreciate any help and advise.
