It’s fake, it’s not even debatable. There are only a handful of legitimate metal cards and that’s not one of them ---

If you look it up it’s a real card. A lot of people are selling it and it’s a gold foil card not a metal one. And no I don’t have the box as my son threw it out ---

100% it is a fake card. It is tough to accept the fact that you bought a fake product. With time you will start to understand the differences. Also, you posted on a very knowledgeable Pokémon fourum. There is no incentive to tell you false information. ---

I’d recommend checking [bulbapedia](https://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Grimmsnarl_VMAX_(Darkness_Ablaze_115)) before buying more cards. If you don’t see the variant of a modern card listed, its most likely a fake. ---

Guys, we cannot know for sure that his card isn’t a one of a kind error that just so happens to look like exactly like the thousands of fakes made in China. ---

These fake cards from China are everywhere in the U.S. If it makes you feel any better, I’ve seen many parents (and their children) get tricked by them.
