Nothing crazy or unexpected, but unlimited Misty’s Tentacruel wasn’t in the original post, so I can add it now 
The art for this card is great for double swirls with that spacing—almost anywhere horizontally and you’d see both swirls in full view!

The long journey comes to an end folks. I finally have it, the last 4 swirl Southern Islands holo I needed. It was serendipity that after giving up the daily ebay refresh I happened upon it a minute after it was listed on a random day. While prices on these have erupted, this copy was not out of the ordinary for its new price despite the swirlage. Truly I am grateful. I’ll try to get a nice photo series of all of them to put in my collection thread.

Found a nice double swirl slowking, first addition in a while since the prices have been crazy lately… Minorly off-set, not sure if that’s typical.

Idk, looks like it has kurts on it…
I gave it a little clean to stick in the binder. It was scratchy. Never have touched the Kurt Juice!
But I do have a double swirl problem.. (and orbs)

@jaws Hot damn, those are some great binder pages. The double-swirl Heracross is awesome. Barely any space on that card to see a nice double. Wasn’t aware of the double-orb phenomenon on the EX Sandstorm ex cards. And what’s part of the Kabutops is insufficient ink—is it on the back? Just like to see errors in general also
I don’t know the price of graded cards at all, but if anyone’s interested, there’s a decent double-swirl 1st edition Blaine’s Moltres in an auction ending soon. Placement is pretty good and the card looks pretty good for a PSA 6. (Hope no one was trying to keep that one under wraps…)
