Cant be mad at getting a theme deck. Probably would have been fun to get a legendary deck or an e series deck. I had moved on by the time those had come out but probably would have enjoyed getting them.
That said, I’d like to give myself Some team rocket returns cards and spur myself on to rekindle the desire to collect. I think no other set would have the potential at its time of release. I would find the “cool” factor of dark pokemon appealing again. The reverse holo to be really interesting, and some good pokemon to get from the set. I think dark ampharos alone would be the best card to send to myself.
I’m assuming this means send yourself something you actually own now and not just “send whatever you want no earthly limitations”. I choose to answer it this way at least. Otherwise the answer is easy, a pallet of legendary collection booster cases with a note saying this will buy you a mansion in 2020. Hold onto it until then. But thats just too obvious!
Isn’t it almost time for secret santa -26 already? As a kid one of my favourite cards was a blurry japanese neo discovery printed and glued on an energy card, i had no idea what pokemon it was but it was the coolest thing ever. I even gave it one of my few sleeves to keep it safe so naturally i would gift this and see kid me go all crazy
