Coming up in my comp 1 class I have to write a cause and effect essay, and a proposition essay. I’d like to do one on pokemon, pokemon cards or collecting/investing in a tcg in general. Any ideas go and thanks in advance.
Cause and Effect of… 1st edition stamp removal or… increasing/decreasing odds of rarer cards on booster packs.
Cause and effect of… printing too much cards 
Assuming that proposition = argumentative essay:
Proposition - bring back first edition stamp (or not)
Proposition - Imagine you were told to choose a Pokémon that most resembles you, in whatever way you’d like to define that. Argue that based on that definition, you are more like x Pokémon (you’ll need a counter-argument Pokémon to argue against)
Proposition - Argue for the “best” Pokémon. You’ll need to define the definition of “best” to make your argument (and include counter-argument Pokemon that meet the same criteria).
If your prof didn’t restrict the assignment, then basically, any playground argument you had as a kid or any of those niche arguments you have with friends who share the same hobby, you can totally write about. Any of the crazy E4 arguments could also be essay topics. Ahem, pre-release Raichu thread…

How about asteroids, meteors, and meteorites are all the same thing…just in different locations?
