I’ve had a really interesting time looking through the different types of cards non-TCG printers use to draw people in. I’ve been exploring Star Wars cards a lot lately and even picked up a small bundle for myself. TOPPS in particular has the formula down. A thicker, quality card. Something exceptionally unique like an autograph or a low numbered system. Refractors, for example, are a perfect way to draw in different levels of interest. You get the people who have to have it all spending big cash on the rarest stuff, but you also have lower tiers with the same available artwork for people who just want to casually collect it. And then you have things like these autograph cards to excite the people. They have the chase nailed down.
Congrats on putting together such a fun side collection. I hope you’re enjoying the benefits of non-TCG card collecting in addition to the Pokemon main hobby.

Absolutely and thank you for your opinion on non-Sports cards! I completely agree with you. They present the collector with different opportunities.
I do enjoy having these cards in my collection! They were quite expensive lol. I wouldnt mind having Emilia Clarke’s Daenerys Targaryen Autograph card, however she goes for $300.00 to $500.00 un graded!

I was into the marvel releases pretty heavily, but slowed down to focus on pokemon again.

That’s awesome man! I was looking at the Marvel ones on eBay recently! they look pretty cool especially those precious metal cards! However I too prefer to focus on Pokemon cards!
