My rules (as I have been told by @slowqueen ) are a bit unorthodox, but I like them and it saves me money instead of doing all languages
English master set
Japanese master set, including 1ED and UED
All language-exclusive promo cards
Language-exclusive deck cards, determined by release date
Due to the fact that preconstructed decks tend to be identical if printed in more than one language, I just pick the earliest printed card and count only that one.
Example: SCC was released in T.Chinese, Thai, and Indonesian, and T.Chinese was first, so my collection scope only includes T.Chinese.
Language exclusive prints
Example: Spiral Force 012/051 in Japanese features the horizontal “crosshatch” holofoil, while Thunder Knuckle 012/051 in Korean is a cosmos holofoil. Both cards are included.
Exception is if the “set symbol” is different, but card and set number the same. I don’t consider BKR (JPN) and BGR (KR) 006/018 to be different prints.
S.Chinese “catch-up set” cards with different set symbols/titles and different set numbers do count, though.
Cameos in English and Japanese
If you’re confused, I don’t blame you. At some point I’m gonna just say eff it and go all languages. But having funny rules is fun for now And now, the binder!
In addition to the master set, I also like to collect signed cards and things from people and friends who have helped me add to the collection along the way!
I’ve already met so many wonderful friends on my Glaceon journey, and I’m so so excited to meet more!! Please feel free to give me any suggestions (or show me another unfindable Glaceon that I don’t know about… I love those… heh… heh…) in a comment. Oh! And give me suggestions for filler cards for the few blank slots. I may just do two more unique/interesting water energies for them, but I welcome any other ideas!

I appreciate it!! And yes I love the binder. It’s the Simplified Chinese gift box binder. I actually stumbled across a Reddit post of someone with the Umbreon one, and it is what inspired me to even start this collection to begin with!
Thanks! Yes I’m aware of them, I just forgot to make labeled cards for my binder. I also have the poncho SM-P promo in my spreadsheet (but not prioritizing it since they are really expensive now…)
I’ll also be getting the Korean Dawn Stadium, since Mystical Seven has a different set number (40/40 instead of 79/100, or none like the Japanese copy)
Also, I’d like to add that I used your E4 post as major help while making my lists back before I had an account here. Your binders are incredible!!
Great collection thread! I really like how your binders are laid out. Looking forward to them being filled and your thread being updated as the time goes. The best part also is your signed cards section and the friends you have made along the way. I think that is truly the essence of collecting as a community. Thanks for sharing.
