Do all the early -15 degree Magenta back 1st Edition cards you’re finding, have the smaller D shown on the left here?
I expect they do, because this version has the trap setting error outline around all the letters except the D, which should be seen on the 2 Player Starter Set Machamp from December 1998, and just the outline on the Zap! Theme Deck Pikachu from December 1998.
In January, the trap setting error was fixed, and the D grew to match the size of the other letters, as seen on the right.
