So i recently made a trade with someone that i have done business with in the past and is someone i would consider trustworthy. I am in the US and the other person is in Canada. We both shipped out at same time and i received my end. The card i sent however has had this tracking update for the 2 days and am not exactly sure what it means since i am not familiar with Canada Post. They claim they have not received the card yet. Anyone have any experience with this or Canada Post?

Seems to me like the postal service tried to deliver, but couldn’t (noone home for example) so I’m guessing either they’ll try a 2nd delivery or the adressee has to go pick up the package somewhere. (this is based on my local postal experience, thougj i can’t imagine Canadian post being too different)
I had this same kind of notification for someone in the Netherlands and they simply went and picked it up and it was all good. Hopefully it is that simple for you as well.
If the recipient hasn’t receive any notification from the postal service to collect the package, and the tracking says that is waiting to be collected, then he/she should go to the Post office to see if it’s there, sometimes post an messes up with notifications of “failed deliver, please collect at your local postal service”… I know mine do here in Portugal, rarely but once in a while.
