Any update on this? One of Derium’s latest evolutions unboxing videos he was raving about the better print quality of the run.

I have a box lying around that I bought for $25 a few years ago that I’m tempted to open just for the sake of seeing how bad the quality is first hand.
I’m wondering why the reverse holos are much easier to grade though, I mean technically they have a bigger surface prone to scratches.
Each of the holos I did pull from last box had a one printline on exat same spot.
All the reserve holos and ex- or “better” cards were badly off centered.
Back sides were clean at this time.
My friend opened box from that case aswell with same results.
Well I’ll have another case here in few days, I guess I’ll try my luck with it aswell, they are so fun to open 
Where did you find a modern box for $25?
Bought it from a mom on our craigslist equivalent. She told me some weird story about her son winning a bunch of boxes at a tournament on a tropical island (I’m from Germany) and he wouldn’t need them anymore. I thought I’d give it a try for that price even though I knew the probability of getting scammed was high. Turns out it was legit, guess they just didn’t care about money or just wanted to get rid of it asap (evolutions wasn’t very popular at that time). I didn’t need any cards from that set anymore so I kept it sealed.
Edit. Found the mail, it was 2018 and her son competed in Brazil.

I just finished putting together an excel document covering the expected value of this box.
I am going to record to video today and post it on my channel
While the charizard holo is $1000+ the expected value and chances of getting it are slim.

I wanted to make this video after all the talk of xy evolutions being a great set to invest.
I also plan to do an expected value series covering ex to to XY. At least with vintage sets
there is a better value and chance for PSA 10.

No but I’ve heard from a few sellers that they can no longer order Evolutions form the distributor.

Just opened 2 boxes and centering was my biggest issue. After that, each of the holo rares had 1 print line across the middle of the card. Wouldn’t say they are 8s but def not 10s. Think my full arts at least have a shot at a 10 though

ive pulled 9 charizards out of 3 boxes from evolutions. not sure if thats normal, but these boxes are great. I am bullish on evo because i love it.

Same with my 2 boxes
1st box had some brutal centering
2nd box faired better but still noticeably off center.
Fun rip though, planning too get a few more, couple to keep and couple to break!

I pulled ones fresh from the pack and the Zard has some scuffing or whatever on the backside, so sad… Centering isn’t good either.
