Just learned about this set today so I’ll give some of my first impressions.
The booster pack artwork looks like it’s straight out of the Dollar Store knockoff boxes. Whoever approved these designs should never be allowed to have that power again, they’re repulsive.
Similarly, the set name sounds like the name of a Pokemon GO season, not a TCG expansion. Fire whoever proposed this name and fire whoever approved it.
That said the cards are cool. Not really a fan of any of the AR/SAR cards, but the normal arts are delighting. And that N’s Castle is some prime loading screen wallpaper, really does the location justice.
The card sleeves with all the trainer items is also a really neat celebration of sorts, even to someone who has never played the TCG. Seeing Giant Cape and all the plasma-era items there…nostalgia hits different.

Pokemon Center normally releases a second wave of ETBs on the release day of the set, so you might still have a chance of getting one for MSRP!

Update on the Journey Together Enhanced Booster Box story:
At least in the Netherlands, it’s confirmed that the Enhanced boxes are Play! Pokémon retailer exclusive and can order both versions of the box. This may be the same for the rest of Europe.

They often create and post custom cards for the latest sets in the weeks leading up to release date. They will even prepare set boxes, sealed packs and proxies of other cards from the set that have been revealed to convince you it is real
Most obvious tell is they self-credit at the bottom left of each ‘original artwork’,
No one at this time should have access to any cards from SV9 Battle Partners, and TPC has not revealed SAR Lillie’s Clefairy ex yet
