TPC fears the amount of product they would have to print to meet the demand
This is how I feel about SV sets in general. At the same time, I havent bought sealed since silver tempest 
Archaludon is definitely a weaker SAR compared to the norm but this set still looks to be good fun, with Japanese market being the way it is now it’ll be nice to rip a few of these!
all three SARs and 4 of the ARs (so far) are dragons 
If someone told you “dragon themed set” and one of the “notable dragons” was Sheldon IR, you’d be disappointed too.

i understand your sentiment, but i’ve been following these closely for long enough to understand “dragon themed” just means there will be more of a focus on dragons. the next set is supercharged breaker with pikachu as the mascot, and i do not expect it to be more than maybe 15-20% electric types.

That’s high. I don’t think there will be anymore Electric types than normal. It’s just a name used to represent Pikachu.
Interestingly, I’m not sure why there is any expectation at all of what a set’s name is and what Pokemon is inside the set besides the mascot. When has TPC ever delivered on more than the title?
Even then, sets like “Incandescent Arcana” have zero meaning lol.
Honestly. that there is more than just Alolan Exeggutor and that Lati twins is already exceeding expectations.

well its still based on the DLC so they basically choose to highlight the main ones that appear in it not the fan favourites a lot of people were over speculating themselves to disappointment. Super Charged Breaker should also have DLC ties too since Cyrano has Zebstrika. Themematically its still all Dragons just not the ones people were expecting.

Really like this SAR! But i might prefer the Lisia SR card.
Sad to see another SAR trainer “carry” the set though. We got more Paradise then Dragona here.
Still hopeful for a Dialga AR reveal…
The biggest thing they did with that is having all 6 ex cards be Dragon Pokémon, but beyond that the set is actually about “Paradise” Terarium biomes from the Scarlet & Violet DLC. This is why I’m not going to post threads about early tcg trademark names anymore because without prior thematic knowledge from the games it’s too easy to misinterpret future sets, as many did with the “Dragona” part
