i have a hard time believing you wont be able to pull any of the cards on the packs in the set, but TPCI does do silly stuff like this sometimes

My only hope is that since we haven’t seen the ex cards yet, maybe the ones in the surprise box are a special alternate art/TCPi exclusive thing. Hopefully like a Dark Sylveon V or something else.

Somebody on reddit suggested that if Kanda did an umbreon alt it would be probably bigger than moonbreon. At bare minimum be mindblowing.

Are all the SAR eeveelutions presumably going to be tera pokemon? The tera SARs are a little underwhelming imo

Since the half art Eeveelutions cards are numbered adjacent to their respective Stellar ex cards and Stellar is the hallmark theme of this set (like VMAX for Eevee Heroes), yeah Stellar ex is all they can get for SARs. There are no regular ex cards for Eeveelutions. Half art Eeveelutions may get ARs instead (as we just saw with IR Eevee ETB promo)

• TPCi seems to want to promote the individual boxes with regular Eeveelutions cards (Stellar Eeveelutions ex in the Surprise Box)
  • Might mean there are only IR Eeveelutions & SIR Stellar Eeveelutions in the actual set
• Espeon & Umbreon might be Black Star Promos for a product releasing later (e.g. Super Premium Collection, Premium Figure Collection)

Maybe one will be released a bit later, since it seems like they’ve got promo releases for this one planned at least until fall of next year.

Stamped Stellar Eeveelutions ex promos from the Surprise Box

• They are not Black Star Promos, so non-stamped versions should be in the set
• Stamp is opposite side of whichever direction each Eeveelution is facing
• The main set has 131 cards

What a clever way to sell a bunch of surpise boxes. Atleast it isn’t unique art, so they shouldn’t be too hard to get

I could have sworn one of the articles released before said the promos would be embossed but it looks like they are only stamped. Wonder if the stamp will make much difference for many people.

Bingo. Thats what it was. Was hoping it would be something interesting with etching, an additional stamp doesnt seem as enticing.

Unusual observation discovered by @Osmiooo, ‘Illustration Rares’ was removed from the official set description

What’s confirmed so far:

• More than 175 cards
• 131 main set cards
• 32 SIR of both Pokémon and Supporters
• 12 full art Supporters

Normally if a set is stated to have over 175 cards, it would be at most be 180. Confirmed numbers adds up to 175, not including Hyper Rares (gold cards) or Illustration Rares. Hyper Rares should be in the set since there are usually so few, but where did the Illustration Rares go?

Well glad to see it isn’t some unique art, so prices shouldn’t be too insane. Guess I may end up buying 1 surprise box to see how it is. And buy the other ones as singles.

OOH we LOVE a set stamp. Ok team let’s gamble! In all seriousness this one feels a tad strange. On a value basis the ETB is better for sure. If they’re not sold out maybe it’ll be a christmas gift or maybe I’ll just pick one up
