oh man these are some prices. When’s the deadline to confirm? So I can try to figure out which cards to get, and which ones to wait on.
Tyvm for enquiring on our behalf. I wasnt sure what to expect price wise as I dont deal in niche languages, so I think I just vastly underestimated what the houndooms would be fetching.
I cant really justify 500 usd minimum for unseen condition cards that arent my main collection focus, so im going to pass

80 just for the RH is rough, but it isn’t the most I’ve ever paid for one of these. Because it isn’t in my main collection, I’ll need to consider it. Feel free to tag or message me if it comes down to decision time and I haven’t committed.

When I first posted this thread, I figured only a couple of people would be interested and the dollar amount would not be in the 4 digits.
I got overwhelmed by the number of messages, IMs, requests for photos, requests to negotiate, etc. Shipping is only $10 for 1 card from Russia. It doesn’t make sense to pay for a large package from Russia to me then pay shipping to each person. Also the talk of crypto and bank wires was too much for a guy just trying to colllect little Eevee cards and help others out along the way.
Here is the contact info on Instagram for the guy with the Russian cards. He is willing to negotiate, I just can’t be the middle man for all of this.

I will never join a group buy for a board, almost thought about it once but decided I was 100% happy with getting a nice board from Gazzew lol. For cards, though…take my money.
If I can’t use Paypal and many other services, how do I buy cards from Russian sellers?
One of the many reasons I stopped working on this.

Welp guys, because now I know who exactly offered russian cards let me enlighten you who exactly is this person. You can consider this as a warning message.
I had deals with him before. He asks too high prices, he can keep silent about the flaws of the cards (there were many cases of scratches on the holography and cards overall). Also, one of the reasons why everyone in the Russian community dislikes him is that he outbids lots and rakes everything in for resale, which leads to rising prices and insufficient supply on the market (As you can see, he is asking too much for cards that cost 10 cents here in Russia).
I do not recommend dealing with him.

Hi Will!
I tried for two weeks, I installed different apps and even had two appointments with my bank as well. I also initiated a special transaction with 35 € transaction fees - nothing worked and I gave up. There is an embargo and transactions to Russia, Belarus or Kazakhstan are not possible from Germany.
Only way seems to be via Crypto - which I don’t have access to.
