Yeah just speculation. There isn’t another artwork with the attacks & hp of that Eevee though, so they’d just do a whole different card which hasn’t happened yet in gems

In my experience it was only a few plushies and a TCG set that couldn’t deliver. So this „Year of Eevee“ felt kind of weak to me. Am I wrong?
Year of Eevee in 2025 was indeed a full year. Plushies (regular, sitting cuties, sleeping, life size, etc). Figures of each were pretty neat. As well as clothing items. It wasn’t really a TCG theme specifically for Year of Eevee, it was the record amount of merchandise.

My start deck cards came today, so here’s a small helping of poor quality photos to point out holo and texture differences
All three Tera eevees
English prize pack - should be the same holo and texture as English prismatic
Terastal festival - similar coloring to English, texturing looks a bit different (to me) but is normal for Japanese
Start deck 100 - flat mirror. No rainbow tinting like in the terastal one and no texture on the art like in english

You were right once again! Eevee in Gem Pack Vol 4, right after that same artwork came out in CSV7 last month. So 2 ways to get the Chinese poke ball and master ball.
