Please buy my cards from the eBay vault (so I have zero selling fees) and have them shipped to your PWCC vault account!
Wait is this the case for PWCC as well? I was considering sending ~500 cards to them but am not a US citizenā¦
Pardon my ignorance (having never used a vault service), but do any of these companies offer storage for sealed? Most costs listed by eBay seem to reference card value at withdrawal⦠is this because they only store individual cards, or an excuse so they can charge a higher fee for booster boxes etc?
eBay Vault is a No Junk Slab Zone.
Yeah those junkie wotc psa 9 base holo unlimiteds only a few of you may pass lol.
If I read it correctly that 3% is the BUYERS fee.
I guess sellers fees remain how they areā¦
Yeah, technically there are no selling fees at all. Looks like seller gets the full bid price. With a buyerās premium of 3% you would expect buyers to bid almost 3% less than cards not sold on the vault so it still acts as a selling fee. With such a small premium buyers may ignore it altogether. Another reason they may ignore it is they may live in a state/city with higher sales tax than the premium.
smh Americans get all the fun
Aah I skipped over the part above the buyers fees stating there are NO seller fees.
You are right, my bad!
In that case it really is cheap compared to PWCC and other vaultsā¦
I was interpreting that as no extra vault specific selling fees on top of the already existing eBay fees for selling an item. It seriously means you get the full sold price of the item? That seems crazy.
Good points. The one thing I really donāt follow when it comes to using vaults is having something you bought shipped directly to your vault. Whereās the fun in that!
Most new ventures are super cheap to lure in market share
Same. I completely understand why vaults need to exist and why people use them. That said, buying something and having it go directly to your vault to then later sell it directly from your vault feels nearly as boring as buying stocks to me. Again, totally get why people do it and it makes sense, but it really just sucks a lot of the fun out of it for me in that case.
This exactly. I do miss looking at my beautiful cards but ive also cut down space. I sent lots of booster boxes to make room. Also with PWCC and most things, i kind of sold off stuff here and there as I changed around my collecting wants from time to time. Dont get me wrong, i stilll have quite a bit of cards on display!! But the higher value cards i feel safer insured in the vault.
From a selling side have they stated how it will work? I remember previously the cards would auction in your page.
As a seller you can do Buy It Nows or Auctions. Both options appear on your store page, but show āfrom the eBay vaultā when viewing it as the buyer/bidder.
Iām not 100% sure on booster boxes, but PWCC will vault sealed decks and booster packs. I have a few vintage Japanese sealed decks and packs stored there now.
Iām not completely sure as I donāt use PWCC but I believe some other international E4 members use their vault service.
International customers definitely use pwcc vault services. Majority of my international buyers have a vault address. It makes deals a lot easier.
PWCC and Goldin (Collectors Vault) both offer storage of sealed product. I assume that eBay will be no different.
